SCVO Policy Network: evaluating policy influence with Evaluation Support Scotland
SCVO and Evaluation Support Scotland
This event is in the past
Evaluating and demonstrating policy influence is a crucial part of the the policy process. It helps voluntary sector organisations assess the effectiveness of their work, understand their impact, and provide vital information to funders. However, this process can be challenging, particularly for organisations with limited resources or experience.
Evaluation Support Scotland (ESS) work with third sector organisations and funders so that they can measure and explain their impact. This session will give an overview of ESS’s ‘Charting the Waters’ guide for the third sector on how to evaluate policy influencing work and offer practical examples of organisations who have used/applied the evaluation framework. Participants will also be invited to share learnings, challenges and best practices. The session will be followed by a Q&A.
