How can you help your service users manage universal credit? Supporting people with an online system, especially if you are working from home, can be difficult. You do not need to be an expert to make a difference. This course aims to equip you with the practical knowledge you need to help your service users navigate universal credit and avoid potential pitfalls.
The course covers:
• What is universal credit and who can get it
• Helping people manage the system
• Maximising incomes – understanding universal credit amounts
• Dealing with problems and knowing who can help
This course is aimed at frontline workers who have little or no experience of the benefit system and will be delivered online as follows;
10.00 - 11.15 training session delivered via Zoom
