BHF Live & Ticking: Inequalities and the Heart
British Heart Foundation
This event is in the past
British Heart Foundation’s Live & Ticking monthly online events continue to keep you connected with the latest BHF activity, what’s happening in the research community and the life saving research still taking place. Each month focuses on a specific research project and our speakers will answer your questions during the live Q&A.
This month hear from Professor Nishi Chaturvedi at University College London who is carrying out research to understand the link between ethnicity and heart and circulatory disease, and the complexities of health inequalities in the UK.
We hope to also be joined by a heart patient who will share their personal story of heart and circulatory disease, the treatment they received and how their experience shaped their understanding of their condition.
Kerry Smith, BHF Director of People and Organisational Development, will be sharing the latest BHF news and activities. We look forward to taking any questions you might have regarding the BHF and our mission at this time.
