Re-starting your services safely
SCVO
This event is in the past
We’ll take you through the key steps to safely re-starting your service, signpost you to sources of advice and support and give you a chance to talk to others and share learning and good practice.
This webinar will be recorded and available to watch back on the SCVO YouTube channel after the event.
OverviewCommunities, services and all sectors of public life in Scotland are gradually re-opening and with the return to a system of local protection levels, many groups and organisations are planning how and when to re-start their services. Doing this safely and in line with the most up to date guidance is essential, but the level of planning and risk assessment required might also feel overwhelming! Are you ready to re-open? What information, advice and support do you need to help you to get to this stage?
Overall aimSCVO along with Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) and Public Health Scotland (the team behind the Supporting Communities Safely resource) invite you to join them for an overview of the very latest guidance as well as practical advice, tools and resources to help you get your service up and running safely.
We’re delighted to be joined by Lisa McCann, Environmental Health Service Manager at Fife Council, who brings a wealth of expertise and insight into the practical challenges of making our public spaces as safe as possible.
Our confirmed panellists are:
· Beth Mukushi, Support Services Change Lead, SCVO
· Lisa Martin, Senior Health Improvement Officer, Public Health Scotland
· Mick Doyle, Head of Programme, SCDC
There will be a particular focus on how to manage the use of indoor spaces, covering important (but sometimes complicated and technical!) issues such as how to implement physical distancing and ventilation.
