Running fun and active sessions for older peoples' groups

In this free online course you will learn how to run Age Scotland fun and active sessions for groups of older adults.

This course is for professionals, and volunteer community organisers, who would like to run fun activity sessions for group of older adults that involve physical movement. It will cover:

- Physical activity in later life: what research says and public health guidelines.

- An introduction to Age Scotland's fun and active resources: Power Quiz, Body Boosting Bingo and Around the House in 80 Days.

- An opportunity to try out leading these activities

- How to plan, promote, and safely run sessions based on these resources

Those completing the training will be provided with free materials to run sessions (subject to terms and conditions of use).
