Join us for this FREE course to learn about the signs of mental health conditions and supporting anyone experiencing a mental health issue.
Session is open only to staff and volunteers of third sector organisations offering services in Glasgow and surrounding areas.
This session will focus on raising awareness of common mental health issues and recognising the signs and symptoms of mental health problems. Attendees will develop skills to look after their own mental health and support others experiencing a mental health issue or crisis.
Objectives:
- Develop an understanding of common mental health issues.
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems.
- Learn to communicate confidently about mental health.
- Develop tools to promote wellbeing.
Session will be delivered by Zofia Zukowska, Wellbeing Service Advisor. Zofia is supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of staff and volunteers of third sector organisations throughout Glasgow through delivering training sessions and identifying wellbeing needs.
