SCVO
This event is in the past
SCVO is bringing the voluntary sector together in this series of short lunch time events, discussing some of the 'best' non-fiction books available.
A lunch time event where two speakers working in the voluntary sector, will share their three key takeaways from those books and discuss whether they are worth buying, borrowing or reading the back sleeve.
This is our third event where we will chatting about:
- Be More Pirate by Sam Conniff Allende - "Whatever your ambitions, ideas and challenges, this book will revolutionize the way you live, think and work today, and tomorrow."
A bold claim, will Paul Stepczak from Cwmpas tell us if it's true? Has his life been revolutionized?
- Change Ninja Handbook : An Interactive Adventure for Leading Change by Tammy Watchorn - “An essential guide for any professional interested in understanding how to implement and influence change and make it more fun!"
Did Maria Hernandez, Head of HR (Interim) from Registers of Scotland find using this book made change more fun?
Sign up and find out! Who is the event aimed at?This event is for any one working and volunteering in the voluntary sector in Scotland. These events are informal so please feel free to bring your lunch and a cuppa along.
