This two-session course, led by Alice Samtoy, provides a comprehensive training opportunity to deepen your knowledge of corporate fundraising. The course includes practical training on critical skills for sponsorship including effective prospecting, aligning your pitch, and delivering a partnership ready for renewal.
This is for you if you are already a fundraiser in the cultural sector, delivering sponsorship in particular, and would like to develop your skills. You may have already attended the introductory level 1 course in Developing Creative Partnerships and are looking for the next step.
The course will be run online over 2 sessions taking place on the following dates:
Wednesday 1 March, 9.30am – 12.30pm
Thursday 2 March, 9.30am – 12.30pm
The course will cover:
Building targeted pipelines
Effective prospect management
Cultivating relationships
Valuing your assets
Developing sponsor-centric proposals
Pricing & negotiation
Launching for success
Account management for renewal
At the end of the course you will have a toolkit of key skills, tactics and knowledge to support your corporate fundraising all the way from prospecting to renewal, giving you the tools to build strong and lasting relationships.
NB: This course was first delivered in September 2021. It has been renamed from ‘Intermediate’ to ‘Level 2’.
