How can we make services and support better for those affected by self-harm
Do you work or volunteer in in mental health in Scotland? Do you manage, deliver or design frontline mental health services? Do you have experience of accessing or requiring mental health support?
Scottish Recovery Network is holding a series of events, both online and in person to listen to and better understand those affected by self-harm. The feedback from these events will go directly to Scottish Government to help them shape and improve what they deliver in their new Self Harm Strategy. This provides people affected the opportunity to help develop services in the future.
We are looking for people who are willing to share and discuss their experiences of self-harm. We would also like to hear from people and services who support those individuals. We will be listening to you around what can make services better, what helps enable people to live well and how can sharing your experience with others with similar experiences help.
The same event is also being held in-person at (please only book for one event)
Glasgow, Mercure Hotel - Tuesday 14 February 2023, 1300hrs to 1430hrs
Dundee, Discovery Point - Tuesday 21 February 2023, 1300hrs to 1430hrs
Inverness, Spectrum Centre - Tuesday 28 February 2023, 1300hrs to 1430hrs
These Conversation Cafes will be hosted by Scottish Recovery Network staff team with the support of people with lived experience.
Join us over a cuppa to share and hear invaluable insights and experiences.
