The new chair of the Lotteries Council will be Jo Bucci, it has been announced. Bucci,managing director of People’s Postcode Lottery, said she was honoured to accept the role. The Lotteries Council is the body that supports a range of fundraisers who run lotteries and supports them on legal, regulatory and compliance issues. She said: “I am proud that I will be following in the footsteps of a friend and colleague - the late Clive Mollett - in leading the council at a pivotal time for our sector."

Richard Jennings has been appointed as managing director of Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association. He was formerly currently head of property. He said: “stepping up to the role of managing director is a great opportunity and challenge. The Scottish Government’s commitment to housing and the group’s focus on creating great places to live creates a great opportunity for continued growth and innovation and I am looking forward to working with the team to deliver this.”

WaterAid UK has appointed Tim Wainwright as its new chief executive, to take over from Barbara Frost when she retires in May. For the past six years Tim has been chief executive of ADD Action on Disability and Development International, an NGO working to promote independence, equality and opportunity for disabled people living in poverty in Africa and Asia. Tim’s career to date has included senior roles at the Equality and Human Rights Commission and Oxfam.
