Lee Johnstone has been appointed to lead Barnardo’s Scotland fundraising team in Scotland. Lee has a wide range of experience in the voluntary sector, partnership and fundraising fields, having previously worked for The Prince’s Trust as head of corporate partnerships. Lee said: “This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help the UK’s largest and oldest children’s charity to increase its profile and income within Scotland.”

David Cressey

Scottish Churches Housing Action (SCHA) has announced the appointment of David Cressey as chief executive, to take up the role in March. He will succeed the long-standing chief executive, Alastair Cameron, on his retirement. Currently programme manager with Forest Enterprise Scotland, David has a background in housing, initially in Lincolnshire, and subsequently with Scottish Borders Council, where he worked on strategy for housing, economic development and community planning. He holds a postgraduate diploma in housing, and a Masters in Business Administration. He is an active member of Selkirk Baptist Church.

Lesley Gold has joined Cosgrove Care as its new head of services. Lesley’s career has spanned over 30 years in social care. She joins Cosgrove from Enable Scotland where she was regional manager. Lesley has a keen interest in promoting and facilitating the rights of people with a learning disability to live within, and contribute to their own local communities. She has a keen interest in developing new service models. Cosgrove believes Lesley’s experience and principled approach will support their ambitious strategy at a time of real challenge in social care. Lesley has worked with a variety of Local Authorities and partner organisations to support their desire to re-design and modernise their Supported Living services.
