Barbara Osborne has been appointed as the new chief executive of Music in Hospitals & Care. Her recent roles include director of income generation and marketing at Myeloma UK and head of community and volunteer fundraising at British Heart Foundation. She said: “I am excited to be joining MiHC and meeting the teams across the UK. I look forward to continuing and improving the excellent work of MiHC to help realise its vision of joy through live music ”

Andrew Sharkey

Goodmovers 27 07 18 - who has a new job?

Andrew Sharkey will lead over 50,000 Scottish members as chief commissioner of Scouts Scotland. Andrew - known as Sharkey to many in the movement - has been involved in the Scouts since he joined as a cub scout. He has a huge passion for international scouting and he was the camp chief for the Blair Atholl Jamborette, where he has been involved since 1988. Sharkey is looking forward to working with the team of volunteers to further develop scouting.

Angiolina Foster

Goodmovers 27 07 18 - who has a new job?

Angiolina Foster CBE, chief executive of NHS 24, has joined the board of Sistema Scotland, the charity which runs the Big Noise programme and aims to transform the lives of children living in disadvantaged communities through music. She formerly served as chair of the Evaluation Advisory Group overseeing the independent evaluation of Sistema Scotland and its Big Noise programmes.
