Charity is always on the look out for re-sellable goods

Barnardo’s Scotland needs more pre-loved items to sell in their stores in a bid to raise vital funds for its children’s services.

The charity runs more than 60 stores across the country with its retail arm expected to be as busy as ever this Christmas.

The organisation supports children, young people and their families in more than 125 specialised community-based services across the country.

Martin Crewe, Director of Barnardo’s Scotland, said every donation made to its stores will go directly to helping children.

He added: “Your donation to your local Barnardo’s store will mean more than ever. Every day, the cost-of-living crisis is getting worse and it’s pushing more and more children and their families into frightening levels of poverty.

“This winter, frontline staff at Barnardo’s will be helping struggling children and families across Scotland by providing them with emergency support such as beds, access to food, and support with their mental wellbeing.”
