Charity distraught after minibus stolen in Edinburgh

Dnipro Kids have put out an appeal.

An Edinburgh charity has shared their dismay after their minibus was stolen.

Dnipro Kids, a Ukrainian charity based in the capital, said its vehicle was taken in the east of the city.

The charity, founded in 2005 by fans of Hibernian FC, works to care for orphans in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.

They have now appealed for any support and for anyone who sees the vehicle to get in touch.

In a statement on social media, the charity wrote: “It is with sadness that I have to announce that the Dnipro Kids minibus was stolen last week from Seaview Terrace/Edinburgh Road at Joppa.

“It had been sitting on the main road following repairs and MOT at the nearby garage and was discovered missing on Friday evening.

“The registration in BL15FUH and if anyone has seen it, or can remember seeing it elsewhere over the past week, please get in touch.

“We would be grateful if everyone could share this post far and wide.”
