The Melting Pot is on the move

A charity hub is set to reveal its new base.

The Melting Pot has found a new bigger home where charities, social businesses and freelancers will lead the recovery from the Covid crisis. The charity will reveal its new home on Monday night (8 March) at a live virtual event following a playful social media campaign teasing the location.

Organisers are encouraging people to register for the event on their Facebook page so that they can be amongst the first to see their exciting new space.

The Melting Pot’s founder and chief executive Claire Carpenter said: “After months of hard work, we are both proud and excited to be unveiling our new location tonight.

"We believe it will be the perfect place for those who are wanting to reap the many health and wellbeing benefits that come from getting out of the house and working safely amongst others. Not only that, but we know that working together in the same space can help increase productivity, improve motivation levels and help to generate new creative ideas.

“We are planning on opening the new space in May with all comprehensive measures in place to keep us safe as we connect in our community’s new home."

The new home will be revealed at 5pm on Monday.
