Scottish Love in Action has launched a new challenge to raise vital funds

A Scottish charity has launched a milestone birthday challenge.

Scottish Love in Action is celebrating 21 years of supporting children and young people in India by launching the 21 for 21 Challenge.

21 for 21 asks people to raise £21 for vulnerable children in India by choosing a challenge for 21 days.

21 for 21 will make a big difference to the children and young people the charity's partners in India support; £21 feeds a girl at the ASRITHA Rainbow Home in Hyderabad for six weeks.

Participants are helping to ensure girls in India are supported, cared for and educated, empowering them to transform not only their own lives, but those of their children.

Chief executive Michelle Davitt said: "Scottish Love in Action have come up with 21 fun ideas to choose for the xhallenge, or people can get creative and devise their own!

"Sign up for free on the Scottish Love in Action website and when you make your £21 donation, you’ll be entered into our competition to win four VIP tickets to our Fireworks Extravaganza 2021! The challenge runs till 30 April 2021.

"Scottish Love in Action would also love it if folk taking part share photos of their challenge with us on social media; and encourage everyone they know to get creative and active with their own - it's great to have a positive goal to aim for at the moment!"
