Diabetes Scotland is hoping to benefit from four walking events that are taking across the country
A charity is looking for its supporters to don their walking boots.
Diabetes Scotland is appealing for people to consider registering for one of this year's four Kiltwalk events to help boost its funds.
Those who take part will receive a branded t-shirt and crazy hair headband, with support offered in the run-up to the event.
Angela Mitchell, national director of Diabetes Scotland said: "What sets the Kiltwalk apart from other fundraising events is that the Hunter Foundation promise to top up the totals raised by each entrant by an incredible 40%.
“This makes it a marvellous opportunity to maximise fundraising efforts and we would urge as many friends and supporters to join Diabetes UK's walkers and register for the Kiltwalk."
Kiltwalk events take place in Glasgow (29 April); Aberdeen (3 June); Dundee (19 August) and Edinburgh (16 September) – with distances ranging from six to 26 miles.
