Community justice charity adds to board

Sacro has brought in new voices to its trustees.

A Scottish community justice organisation has announced the addition of four new members to its board of trustees.

Faye Shaw, Greg Maxwell, Heather Irving, and Natalya Macholla will all join Sacro’s board.

The new trustees bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the charity’s mission to deliver life-changing services that empower people, give hope and protection, and help to build safe communities.

Faye Shaw joins with a strong background in managing large operations, especially in the BPO and IT sectors.

As a chartered accountant and a leader who has shown a commitment to workplace inclusion, she will be a great addition to the board, the charity said.

Greg Maxwell, head of corporate affairs at Edinburgh Airport, brings over 15 years of experience in media, communications, and public engagement.

Heather Irving, with her extensive background in social work and justice policy, offers over 15 years of experience.

Natalya Macholla, a chartered accountant, and former managing director of customer service at Wheatley Group, contributes significant knowledge in the housing and care sectors.

Her understanding of community regeneration, homelessness, and social disadvantage will be very beneficial to our work.

Natalya said: "I'm delighted to be joining Sacro and look forward to the opportunity to work with the Board and executive team to continue to help the many people across Scotland who need our services the most.

“I truly believe that the services offered by Sacro transform lives and can be the lifeline often needed by so many.”

Jon Beck, chair of the board, added:  "I’m very pleased to welcome Faye, Greg, Heather and Natalya as Sacro trustees. They bring diverse skills and experiences, fresh perspectives and a personal commitment to Sacro’s values – a commitment shared with our skilled and dedicated staff team, who continue to deliver excellence in supporting the people we work with.

"I"I look forward to their contribution as we aim to help people find paths to positive change.”
