Allan Jacobsen is now an ambassador for the School of Hard Knocks.
A former Scotland international rugby player has been announced as an ambassador for a sport charity.
Allan Jacobsen, who played 65 times for Scotland between 2002 and 2012, joined the School of Hard Knocks (SOHK) last week.
The prop, who spent his career with Edinburgh, played in three Rugby World Cups in 2003, 2007 and 2011.
He will now work with the charity which aims to empower and support individuals who are living in complex and challenging circumstances.
SOHK exists to support individuals who are facing inequality, enabling meaningful change in participants’ lives through high impact sport, mentoring and building team ethic.
The charity’s courses cover work with both adults and young people aged 11 - 16 across the whole of the UK.
