The Polar Explorer will be auctioned off to help children with low self-esteem
A new whisky made from iceberg water is set to benefit charity.
Adventurer Craig Mathieson collected iceberg samples while sea kayaking in Greenland.
And the water has been used to create The Polar Explorer, a 12-year-old single malt that will be auctioned off to raise funds for The Polar Academy.
The charity helps teenagers with low self-esteem to go on Arctic expeditions.
Currently, only 10 bottles are available through auction site Whisky Auctioneer however a further 190 will be made available to those who make a generous donation to the charity.
The bottles of the spirit – made from water from the Sermilik Fjord – is set to go for up to £1000 a bottle.
