Landmarks across the UK are being given spotty makeovers to mark Children in Need’s new schools fundraising campaign.
The Big Spotacular has seen Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Museum, Liverpool’s Superlambana and Birmingham’s Bullring adorned with spots.
Schools across the country are being encouraged to take part in the campaign, with children and teachers dressing in spots, selling spotty cakes and goods and taking in spotty-themed challenges to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people.
Jonathan Rigby, BBC Children in Need’s director of marketing and fundraising, added: “This year’s Big Spotacular schools campaign is set to be sensational and we can’t wait to see schools sign up to get involved.
“Everyone’s efforts will make a huge difference to young lives across the UK so we hope to see lots of schools going spotty to help raise money.”
The initiative is being supported by Children in Need partners Bank of Scotland, who are encouraging schools to request their free Spotacular fundraising kit, containing fundraising ideas and resources.
