Opportunity to meet other organisations and find common ground to build new partnerships

Smaller charities and voluntary organisations are being invited to a unique meet-up in Glasgow next week.

The Third Sector Sandpit aims to bring organisations together for a networking event in a bid to look at the various areas of interest, and to think about new partnerships and new ideas.

It is aimed at organisations looking to create and inspire social change and each attendee will be given two minutes to pitch their charity to all others there.

Organised by LEAP Sports Scotland and Unity Enterprise the event will take place from 10.30am on 12 July in Pride House at Spoon Café on Glasgow’s Trongate.

A spokesperson for the event said: “The idea is to bring together third sector organisations who may not get the chance to meet in other circumstances.

“We will use a semi-structured process which will give everyone an opportunity to take part.

“Get those two-minute elevator pitches ready, and come and play in our sandpit.”
