NatWest offers funding for employability and enterprise projects across Scotland
A new fund has been created for charities and other third sector groups to help them to support disadvantaged communities.
The Skills and Opportunities Fund, set up by NatWest, will allow people to get into the world of work or set up their own businesses.
Funding of up to £35,000, from a total pot of £2.5 million, is available for charities, social enterprises, community groups, state schools and colleges across the UK and Ireland.
The fund will be split into seven regions, of which Scotland is one.
Ken Barclay, Scotland board chair, said: "In Scotland we're committed to funding projects that will leave a lasting legacy for the people we share a community with, and deliver a measurable social impact on employability or enterprise all across the country."
Applications for funding will close on Friday, 22 May at noon. A shortlist of applications in each area will be put forward or a public vote.
