Director has taken up post immediately

Pauline Lunn is the new director of In Control Scotland (ICS) replacing outgoing director Keith Etherington.

She joins ICS following a highly successful third sector career spanning almost 20 years in a voluntary and professional capacity, most recently as head of development with Ypeople.

She also sits on the board of SCVO, Homeless Network Scotland and Loop Theatre CIC.

ICS chair, Andrew Magowan, said: “With the Feeley Report, new standards for self-directed support, and as our recovery from the pandemic begins, Pauline is taking the helm of ICS at a time of unprecedented change.

Her appointment reflects our board’s belief that she is the right person to help ICS realise the opportunities in these changes to unlock the full potential of SDS for disabled people.” 

Magowan added: “In doing so, she will build on the remarkable contribution that our director, Keith Etherington, has made to the development and implementation of SDS and crucially, the lives of hundreds of disabled people and their families.”

Lunn will take up the role immediately while Etherington will continue to support ICS’s work for the immediate future.
