The new auction site GivGo will help companies sell off unused corporate hospitality tickets to staff and raise money for charity
Fundraising technology company Givergy has launched a new online auction product GivGo to help companies boost their Corporate Social Responsiblity (CSR) initiatives.
GivGo utilises specialist technology to allow global corporates and their foundations to maximise unused corporate hospitality or half-full corporate boxes by auctioning tickets and experiences through online auctions or prize draws.
Simply put, employees bid for donated items or tickets to fantastic live sporting and cultural events; they bid, they give, they go.
Redistributing unused corporate hospitality and other auctionable items to raise funds for good causes makes good sense for everyone involved
Bidding is limited to the company’s own employee base in order to engage employees with the companies CSR and raise vital funds for charity.
The bidding process is simple: users can login to the fully-responsive site, browse for live sporting and cultural event experiences and place their bid against the clock, with 100 percent of the profit generated going directly to charity.
With over 10 years of experience in events and fundraising, Givergy has established itself as a forerunner in the charity tech marketplace. This latest offering complies with the company’s ethos; offering flexible packages to allow businesses to opt for license fees on a per event or annual basis and guaranteed maintenance & support throughout. The service has already been used by reputable organisations such as Barclays, Lexis Nexis and big-four professional services firm EY.
Rajesh Patel, co-founder of GivGo, said: “GivGo was born out of an aim to prove that the most effective ideas are the simplest, so it is fantastic to see this come to fruition. Redistributing unused corporate hospitality and other auctionable items to raise funds for good causes makes good sense for everyone involved. We look forward to helping more companies support their CSR initiatives as our client base continues to grow.”
Jon Douglas, co-founder of Givgo, said: “We’re proud to put our 10 years of experience in events and fundraising to deliver specialist technology to change the shape of corporate fundraising. Not only does GivGo help raise vital funds for charities but also enhances employee engagement and changes the atmosphere of events – it really is win-win.”
