Vegware Community Fund offers monthly grants of £20-£200 to non-profit sustainability projects

Organisations that promote sustainability are being invited to apply to a regular grant scheme.

Vegware, the UK’s only completely compostable food packaging company, is re-launching its community fund which offers monthly grants of £20-£200 to non-profit sustainability projects.

The fund is intended to contribute to core running costs and act as a basis from which to either focus on their chosen task, or apply for project grants.

Current organisations receiving funding in Scotland include Greener Leith and The Royal Edinburgh Community Gardens.

The fund will re-launch on 26 August with a family friendly afternoon event in Harrison Park, Edinburgh

Activities will include a wild food walk, face painting, environmental games and free refreshments served from a canal boat docked nearby.

More information on the Community Fund and the event can be found on the Vegware website, or by contacting [email protected].
