Charities are being quizzed on the first year of the Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel
Charities are being quizzed on a new fundraising panel.
Last year, following advice from the Scottish Fundraising Working Group, the Scottish Government put in place a new system of enhanced self-regulation for standards of fundraising by charities registered only in Scotland.
The Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel, chaired by Dr Alison Elliot OBE, which was launched on 8 December of last year.
There was a commitment at the time to review these arrangements after the first year in order to ensure they remained fit for purpose and that they took account of the wider fundraising and charity regulation landscape.
Animate Consulting have been commissioned by the Scottish Government to lead this review, which will report before the end of 2017.
An online survey is available now and will be used to shape any changes to the system.
