Organisers SCVO are looking forward to welcoming the Third Sector to Edinburgh this November.
The largest free voluntary sector event in the UK has announced details of this year’s extravaganza.
The Gathering, organised by Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), is to return to Edinburgh later this year.
The event will take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) in the capital, running on Tuesday, November 7, and Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
Organisers unveiled the first details of this year’s event on Tuesday, with members given an exclusive chance to ensure they get early registration, learn how to host an event or exhibit, and learn when the programme is announced.

Last year’s event, which took place at the SEC in Glasgow in June 2022 hosting over 70 workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
The 2022 iteration was the first in-person event since the Covid-19 pandemic, and welcomed thousands of people from across Scotland, the UK, and beyond.
Those attending in 2023 or looking to host sessions will look to focus on both practical and influencing events.
