Institute of Fundraising will reveal awards winner on 4 October

The shortlist has been announced for this year’s Scottish fundraising awards.

Scotland’s best and most innovative fundraisers will be honoured at a special ceremony at the Glasgow City Hotel on 4 October.

The awards are organized by the Institute of Fundraising and will coincide with the organisation’s Scottish conference.

Gary Kernahan, chair of the Scottish Conference Committee, said: “It is important that we celebrate and recognise the very best of fundraising. All across Scotland we have charities providing vital services that so many people are dependent on; services that can only be provided because of the funds people work so hard to raise.

“This year we will present eight special awards including the fundraising excellence award which this year is dedicate to the memory of Ann Ward – a talented fundraiser, a dear friend and valued colleague to so many who sadly passed away earlier this year.”
