There's less than a week left for charities and community groups to enter the 2014 Scottish Charity Awards
The Scottish Charity Awards provide fantastic opportunities for charities and voluntary groups to tell their stories.
Charities have under a week to apply for the 2014 Scottish Charity Awards.
This year’s Scottish Charity Awards include a one-off award in celebration of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The Sporting Chance award aims to recognise charities that run sporting programmes that help people overcome social, economic or physical difficulties.
The awards, which are held every year in June in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, will also recognise charities that have created cracking campaigns and perfect partnerships. Individual Charity Champions will be recognised alongside the Celebrating Communities award and Charity of the Year.
Last year the Scottish SPCA won Charity of the Year. Michelle Grubb, its head of marketing and communications, said: “These awards were recognition of our progress, the fact we are able to help more animals than ever before and the tremendous hard work and dedication of our staff, volunteers and supporters.”
“The Scottish Charity Awards provide fantastic opportunities for charities and voluntary groups to tell their stories and demonstrate the positive impact they are having all across Scotland."
