Social Enterprise Awards Scotland 2024 shortlist announced

An awards ceremony will be held in Holyrood this November.

The shortlist for the 2024 Social Enterprise Awards Scotland has been announced, recognising some of the country’s most pioneering social enterprises.

Organised by Social Enterprise Scotland, the awards celebrate the incredible work and impact of social enterprises across Scotland.

They showcase the very best of the sector and highlight the vital role social enterprises – businesses that reinvest their profits into social or environmental causes - have in supporting communities, building places, and making a positive impact on our environment and wellbeing.

The shortlisted nominees, selected across nine categories, represent the best of Scotland’s thriving social enterprise sector.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony, hosted by Paul Sweeney MSP at the Scottish Parliament on the 7th of November.

The event promises to be a night of celebration, inspiration, and recognition for the extraordinary efforts of Scotland’s social enterprises.

The categories include Social Enterprise of the Year; One to Watch; Environmental Social Enterprise; Building Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice; Health and Social Care; Tech for Good; Buy Social Market Builder; Social Enterprise Employee Champion; and Social Enterprise Volunteer Champion.

A full list of nominees can be found on the Social Enterprise Scotland website
