Mass events agency Massive has launched data collection for its 12th annual Massive Top 25 report.
The report highlights and analyses trends from the most successful charity-owned fundraising events and campaigns of the past year.
Charities must submit their data by 23 May to be considered for this year's publication.
Since launching in 2013, the Massive Top 25 has documented over £1.3 billion in fundraising, featuring over 30 different charities and more than 70 distinct events and campaigns. The report remains an essential benchmarking resource for the fundraising sector.
Last year’s report revealed that the largest 25 charity owned fundraising events collectively raised £132 million in 2023 - a 16% increase over the previous year.
John Tasker, partner at Massive, said: “Speaking to charities last year about the year ahead, over 70% of them expected further participation growth in 2024, while 59% anticipated an
increase in fundraising value, so it will be interesting to see how accurate these predictions were.
“As always we’re keen to cast a wider net, speak to more people, and get more insight into how events and campaigns are planning for the future.”
Charities are invited to submit the results of their events and campaigns here by Friday 23 May at 5pm.
