The new publication is widely read and distrubuted across Scotland's charity sector
TFN will publish its new Guide to Running a Charity or Social Enterprise in the autumn, with a special focus on what it’s like to work in Scotland’s voluntary sector right now and over the coming year.
It will use as its starting point unique workplace research conducted by SCVO which will be published soon.
The survey set out to uncover how people from across the voluntary sector feel about their work - from frontline staff and volunteers to managers and senior leaders.
It asked: what do you enjoy and value? What is less satisfying? How could you be better supported?
It will help explore how employers might improve working environments and strengthen routes into voluntary sector careers, and TFN’s new Guide will explore similar themes, with the input of experts from SCVO and beyond.
We are now seeking advertisers (see contact details below) who want to reach out and connect with Scotland’s vibrant voluntary sector.
The Guide will be published online and widely shared through TFN and SCVO’s extensive online reach. It will be shared:
- By TSIs/intermediaries through their networks
- SCVO e-mail footers
- SCVO and TFN bulletins
- A new widget on the TFN site
- A panel on the SCVO homepage
- TFN and SCVO Twitter accounts
- A targeted Twitter campaign scheduled for the whole year
- On TFN’s LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Blue Sky
The new Guide will be published on Monday, 27 October.
