Entry is now open for those who want to take part in the project to bring communities together
Communities across Scotland are being urged to have a chat over sandwiches this summer.
The UK’s annual big get-together The Big Lunch is returning on 3 June.
The event is organised by the Eden Project, with picnics set to take place across Scotland.
The Big Lunch aims to create community spirit by building stronger neighbourhoods, with isolation and division within society a concern.
Entry is now open for hosting events this year, with organisers stressing that lunches can be held at any point during the week.
