Sector fares well against others when it comes to expletives
Charity workers won’t be cursing to discover their sector is the least likely to use profanity, according to a new survey.
And, even on the odd occasion they do turn the air blue, it is most likely with the word sh*t, avoiding stronger expletives.
The results reveal workers in Accountancy, Banking and Finance are guiltiest of popping a profanity in during a team video call or meeting.

In fact, during the study, workers from this sector were caught out almost 1,000 times (963/80 swear words on average per week). That’s approximately 17 times MORE than the sector least guilty of swearing: Charity and Volunteer Work (57/5).
Professionals working in Law land in second place. Throughout the study, this sector was caught turning the air blue 722 times.
While people working in the Travel and Hospitality sector are third worst for swearing, with 706 occurrences.
