These are the best UK charities to work for, it's been claimed

A company claims to have uncovered which are the best UK charities to work for.

Raffolux – which calls itself a charity raffle company, looked through information gleaned from YouGov and Glassdoor to compile a top 50 of charities where employment happiness scores the highest.

It has identified that Cancer Research UK was found to be the best charity in terms of employee happiness and public popularity, rating 8.1 out of 10 on YouGov and 4.1 out of 5 on Glassdoor.

Among the top 10 charities, Macmillan Cancer Support, British Heart Foundation and Keep Britain Tidy all rated a happiness score of 15.7, and NSPCC and Alzheimer’s Society scored 15.1.

The data provided by YouGov was determined by the number of positive opinions that the charities have received from the public, whereas Glassdoor scores are a result of employee satisfaction.

Raffolux established the overall happiness score by analysing both datasets.
