Are you a public sector, health and social care, or housing sector organisation in Scotland?

We want to help you.

Prepare your organisation, learn how to build resilience against cyber-attacks.

Did you know that the latest Police Scotland figures show the number of victims hit by cyber crime in Scotland has reached a record high, nearly doubling in 2021-22 from 2019-20?

With the increased threat of cyber-related scams as well as a heightened awareness of cyber attacks resulting from the fall out of the Ukrainian war, the SBRC is imploring more organisations – particularly those from the public and third sectors – to attend an Exercise in a Box’ workshop when the next programme series begins. It comes at a time when there is a national push for all public bodies to be resilient against all forms of cyber attacks by 2030.

Exercise in a Box (developed by the National Cyber Security Centre and expertly delivered by SBRC across Scotland) is an interactive, educational workshop that recreates real world scenarios and tests your cyber resilience in each scenario. Read more about the scenarios created here - https://bit.ly/2ZIppa5

It is, in essence, a box full of exercises based around real world scenarios with probing questions attached to each scenario. It allows your organisation to do them in your own time, in a safe environment, as many times as you want. It includes everything you need for setting up, planning, delivery, and post-exercise activity, all in one place.

We at the Scottish Business Resilience Centre have been tasked with promoting Exercise in a Box to Scottish third and public sector organisations by means of conducting practical workshops where we facilitate one of the scenarios.

During the interactive session, the attendees are paired with our professional ethical hackers. They take them through and facilitate a set of questions designed to re-create a certain scenario. Find out how these sessions can benefit you and your organisation here - https://bit.ly/2ZIppa5

If this is for you, check our Exercise in a Box webpage regularly to stay up to date with the on-going and upcoming events, or subscribe to our educational newsletter.
