Welcome to World Kindness Day (13 November) where we are all encouraged to commit arbitrary acts of kindness in appreciation of our fellow human beings. Some like to suggest us Scots are a dour, gloomy bunch who see cynicism and scepticism as virtues. Yet when it comes to giving and donations, the Scots come out top showing we are quite a caring bunch after all. Is this true – do you reckon Scots knock the rest of the UK into a cocked hat when it comes to kindness?
