Top businesses and charities have teamed up as they aim to improve the wellbeing of Scots at work.

Financial firm PwC, Barclays, Business in the Community Scotland, SAMH and Samaritans launched the This is Me Scotland initiative this week.

Described by Scottish Government as an important step, the initiative aims to reduce the stigma of mental health and break the culture of workplace silence by supporting people to tell their own stories.

But do third sector employers do enough to ensure their staff feel supported at work?

This week, we are asking: does your charity look after your mental health?

Vote in our poll and join in the debate by leaving a comment.

I do not feel supported or appreciated in my role or that my position is secure. My board is fragmented and does not deliver on actions or give the organisation the attention it requires. I love helping the people I support and working alongside my members to improve their lives. However my passion for the role is taken for granted by the board and their actions, or lack thereof, leave me feeling demotivated.
