Poll: should misogyny be made a hate crime?

This poll is almost 7 years old

Plans to make misogyny a hate crime in Scotland are being considered.

A hate crime legislation reviewis being carried out by the Scottish Government to look at more effective ways to deal with unacceptable behaviour in society.

High Court Judge Lord Bracadale is leading the review and it’s understood that legislation is being considered to tackle misogyny after calls from charities such as Engender and Rape Crisis Scotland.

That’s why we’re asking – is this an effective way to deal with the problem? Should misogyny be made a hate crime?

Vote now and get the debate going by leaving a comment below.
