Should offensive Christmas songs be banned?

From Fairy Tale of New York's use of the word faggot to the #MeToo backlash over 1940s riskily seductive Baby, It's Cold Outside, Christmas songs are increasingly causing offense. With seasonal song lists including tunes stemming back to times when values were very different from today, what should we do? Should we ban dodgy Christmas songs - or accept that they represent historic values. What do you think?
