The bill will aim to improve enforcement, encourage an increase in proactive publication and ensure sufficient resources are in place for the regulator to enable the law to work.

Signatories to the open letter include, MSPs and MPs from Labour and the SNP, trade union representatives, academics and legal experts. 

 
Some concerns were raised that the crisis will pose more significant challenges for organisations, service providers and individuals than even those faced during the pandemic.  

 
There is widespread concern amongst disabled people about being able to afford the energy required to power and charge essential assistive technologies

 
The project has been funded by national shared transport charity Collaborative Mobility UK (CoMoUK) and Smarter Choices.
