Welfare inspectors seek mother of pups as they believe she will be distressed

Just one week old and yet to open their eyes, these heart-meltingly cute puppies got cruelly dumped in Glasgow's Robroyston Park last Thursday (19 November).

Found shivering and frightened, the Scottish SPCA now wants to trace their mum as welfare inspectors believe she’ll be distressed at having her cute brood taken away far too soon.

In the meantime the six newborns are being expertly cared for at the charity’s rehoming centre in Lanarkshire.

Anyone who knows who may have dumped the helpless hounds are being urged to contact the Scottish SPCA’s helpline on 03000 999 999.
