More than 1,000 bikers are expected to take part
Bikers from up and down the country are being urged to descend on Erskine and help raise funds for Scotland’s largest veteran’s charity.
The Erskine Motorbike Meet, now into its 15th year, will be held on Sunday 5 September and will run from 1-5pm.
Over 1,000 bikers, trikers and riders will kick-off a spectacular parade departing from Park Mains High School at 12.40pm on its way to the Erskine estate ahead of an action-packed family fun day of entertainment, market stalls and street food.
This year’s entertainment includes live music from Shardlake, Swamp Born Assassin and Rockus Choir. Owl Magic will also be in attendance, as will the Imperial Scottish Garrison, who will be kitted out in full Star Wars costume.
Pandemonium Soft Play will keep the kids entertained, while those with a sweet tooth or a big appetite can tuck into tasty bites from the likes of Funky Fudge, MacVintage, Angelini’s Pizzeria, and Lunar Melts.
Entry for bikes is £5, entry for visitors is £2, and kids go free.
Jennifer Campbell, Erskine’s events and corporate fundraising manager, said: “Having had to cancel this event in 2020, Erskine is looking forward to welcoming back all the wonderful motorbike enthusiasts, families and supporters to the annual Erskine Motorbike Meet.
“Led by Erskine Ambassador Heather Clissett and supported by our amazing volunteers, the Erskine Motorbike Meet is an unmissable family fun day that raises vital funds for our veterans.”
Erskine would like to thank DXC Technology for providing a dedicated event park on the day.
