Sanjeev Kohli and presenter Kawser Quamer will host All in for Rohingya

A fundraiser for those struck by persecution will be held in Glasgow this weekend.

Still Game star Sanjeev Kohli and presenter Kawser Quamer will host All in for Rohingya.

The event is a unique evening of music, entertainment and insight to raise funds for Rohingya refugees fleeing Myanmar.

Human rights violations and attacks on the ethnic group have resulted in around half a million people fleeing the country.

A host of activities are planned for the event – which takes place at Oran Mor on Saturday (4 November). All proceeds raised will go to Medecins Sans Frontiers and Partners NGO.

There will be live music from Raag and Tonic, The Violet Kind and The Bhangra Beatles, with human rights lawyer Aamer Anwar giving an update on the situation in Myanmar.

Tickets are on sale now.
