"Being assaulted is not part of the job"
A man has been charged following an alleged assault on a charity volunteer in Glasgow’s Buchanan Street.
Police said a 34 year-old had been arrested and a report sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
The volunteer was working for Glasgow Street Aid when the alleged assault took place on the morning of Saturday, 15 November, not long after midnight.

A Glasgow Street Aid spokesperson said: "Being assaulted is not part of the job.
"Our volunteers selflessly volunteer their time on the weekends to help the people of Glasgow in their time of need.
