Celtic and Rangers are both hosting charity sleepouts this winter
Football fans are being given the chance to sleep in the stadiums of their teams to help prevent homelessness.
Celtic and Rangers are both set to hold charity sleepouts this winter.
The Parkhead side will be raising funds for the Celtic FC foundation, while their Ibrox rivals will be collecting money for the Rangers Charity Foundation, Glasgow City Mission and Simon Community Scotland.
The Celtic Sleepout takes place at Celtic Park on Sunday 11 November from 10pm to 6am.
Each participant is tasked with raising a minimum of £130 for Celtic FC Foundation’s 2017 Christmas Appeal, which will help those who face poverty, homelessness or other hardships.
Big Ibrox Sleep Outs will be held on 30 November and 1 December at Ibrox Stadium.
Every participant is asked to raise a minimum of £100 to join the Big Sleep Out and by doing so will also become a True Blue Hero and be invited to a special reception.
The club’s sponsors, betting company 32Red, have pledged to donate £10 for every participant.
