​See Save The Children's harrowing new video.

A new film from Save The Children is causing shockwaves on social media – as it imagines the harrowing story of a child fleeing civil war in the UK.

Made in order to highlight the plight of children fleeing conflict and coming to this country, Still the Most Shocking Second a Day shows how a young girl’s ordinary life is turned upside down.

Posted on Youtube a few days ago, it has revieved more than 311,000 views already.

It is the even more harrowing follow up to a previous filmwhich was aimed at raising awareness of those fleeing the Syrian crisis, with the message “just because it’s not happening here, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.”
