Fitness blogger Stephanie wins PETA award

A combination of charm, physical fitness and a compassion for animals has seen a Glasgow girl claim the title of the UK and Ireland’s Hottest Vegan.

Stefanie Moir, 24, was given the title following a contest held by campaign group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

The fitness blogger, who says she has a “bubbly and outgoing” personality, became a vegan three years ago out of a desire to live a healthy, cruelty-free life.

She said: "I have watched numerous documentaries and read lots of articles and I wanted to do my part to reduce the suffering of animals and the damage to the planet."

Moir runs the blog NaturallyStefanie.com and also has a YouTube channel, where she coaches people who want to make the compassionate switch to a plant-based lifestyle.

PETA director Mimi Bekhechi said: “Stefanie is as attractive on the inside as on the outside because she’s chosen a lifestyle that's kind to animals, the planet and her own health.”

Moir will receive a one-night stay for two at the luxury boutique hotel La Suite West in London, which will include a vegan breakfast as well as a dinner prepared by vegan head chef Nik Heartland at its restaurant, RAW.
