ACOSVO is examining how the pandemic has affected senior members of staff

A new survey has been launched to chart how the Covid-19 pandemic is affecting voluntary sector leaders.

Back in 2017, ACOSVO ran a succession planning survey that showed over 50% of the sector’s leaders were planning to retire in the following five years.

A lot has changed since then, and with a more recent survey highlighting that almost half of charity leaders are considering leaving their roles due to burnout, ACOSVO is looking to understand how the sector’s leadership might be changing post pandemic.

A spokesperson said: “Your contribution will help paint a picture of the wellbeing, diversity, and succession planning of the sector’s leaders in order to ensure better support, and increase and encourage the leadership pipeline of next generation leaders.”

Those who take part will be entered into a free prize draw for ACOSVO membership or a free place at the Annual Conference in October. You can take part now.
